Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Friday, December 9, 2016, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-25, An Act to amend the Canada Business Corporations Act, the Canada Cooperatives Act, the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act, and the Competition Act.

The Minister made a statement and answered questions.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:53 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $16,300, for the study of Bill C-25, An Act to amend the Canada Business Corporations Act, the Canada Cooperatives Act, the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act, and the Competition Act, be adopted.

At 10:14 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
