The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion adopted on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, the Clerk be authorized to distribute Committee documents relative to the study of poverty reduction strategies to MP Brigitte Sansoucy.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the routine motion adopted on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, the Clerk be authorized to distribute Committee documents relative to the study of poverty reduction strategies to the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development.

At 9:13 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:23 a.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That, as part of its study of poverty reduction strategies, the Committee submit a draft travel itinerary to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets that includes the following locations: Vancouver, British Columbia; Medicine Hat, Alberta; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Toronto, Ontario; Saint John, New Brunswick; and Kuujjuaq, Quebec.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of poverty reduction strategies and the motion adopted on Monday, June 13, 2016, the Committee include “Employment” to the title of the “Education and Training” area.

At 9:55 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
