Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, April 16, 2018, the Committee commenced consideration of Bill C-68, An Act to amend the Fisheries Act and other Acts in consequence.

The Chair called Clause 1.

The Committee observed a moment of silence in memory of the victims from the tragegy that occured in Toronto on Monday, April 23, 2018.

The Minister made a statement and answered questions.

At 9:47 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting resumed.

The witnesses answered questions.

At 10:43 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
