Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, the Committee proceeded to a briefing by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in order to provide an update on the government’s response to the 75 recommendations of the Cohen Commission of Inquiry.

Trevor Swerdfager and Rebecca Reid made statements and, with Sylvie Lapointe, answered questions.

At 10:15 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:19 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
