Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, June 6, 2018, the Committee resumed its study on the situation of endangered whales (M-154).

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Protection and Recovery of Endangered Whales: The Way Forward".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12 point font, left aligned, single line spacing, with the title in Cambria 14 point font be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study on Atlantic Canada commercial vessel lenght and licensing policies and to the government response to the report, the officials who appeared at the meetings of February 19 and April 17, 2018, be invited on December 11, 2018.

It was agreed, — That the next meeting be dedicated to the planning of future business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee do now adjourn.

At 4:00 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
