Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed a briefing on resettlement issues related to Yezidi women and girls.

Andrew Clifford, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Lobat Sadrehashemi, Debbie Rose, Gary Rose and Nadre Atto made statements and answered questions.

At 10:27 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:29 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a supplementary budget in the amount of $7,600, for the briefing on resettlement issues related to Yezidi women and girls, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the Chair be authorized to write a letter to the Speaker, the Board of Internal Economy, the Liaison Committee and the Clerk of the House of Commons regarding the ongoing technological issues of third language interpretation in committee rooms.

It was agreed, — That evidence received during the Committee’s studies entitled “Resettling Yazidi Girls and Women” and “Immigration Measures for the Protection of Vulnerable Groups”, as well as the June 15, 2016, report issued by the United Nations Commission of Inquiry on Syria entitled "They came to destroy: ISIS Crimes Against the Yazidis", be taken into consideration as supplementary evidence for the briefing on resettlement issues related to Yezidi women and girls.

It was agreed, — That the Committee get a transcript produced of the Kurmanji spoken during meeting 89 of the Committee, along with both a copy of the English interpretation provided, as well as a written translation of the original Kurmanji done by a certified or otherwise qualified translator.

At 10:53 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
