The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, - That, notwithstanding the Committee routine motion on staff and members attending in camera proceedings, adopted on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, a parliamentary intern be permitted to attend the in camera portion of the meeting.

It was agreed, - That the Committee undertake a study of no more than six meetings on the implication of veterans’ mental health as it relates to medical cannabis through the medical cannabis program administered by Veterans Affairs Canada.

It was agreed, - That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee undertake a study on the obstacles and challenges preventing the seamless transition of members of the Canadian Armed Forces to programs and services offered by Veterans Affairs Canada and to determine measurable outcomes for the financial, physical and mental well-being of eligible veterans, and that this be reported to the House.

It was agreed, - That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee undertake a study on the services offered to Indigenous veterans with a focus on the specific needs and issues faced by this population; and that this be reported to the House.

It was agreed, - That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee undertake a study on the services offered by Veterans Affairs to survivors of sexual trauma during their time in the military with a focus on the specific needs and issues face by this population; and that this be reported to the House.

It was agreed, - That the Committee invite Minister of Veterans Affairs to appear with regard to the Supplementary Estimates (B), 2017-18.
