The Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security met in a televised session at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Kevin Sorenson, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Don Davies, Roger Gaudet, Mark Holland, Andrew Kania, Ben Lobb, Dave MacKenzie, Phil McColeman, Alexandra Mendes, Maria Mourani, Rick Norlock, Brent Rathgeber and Kevin Sorenson.

 

Acting Members present: Ed Fast for Brent Rathgeber.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Lyne Casavant, Analyst; Tanya Dupuis, Analyst.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Thursday, June 17, 2010, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-23B, An Act to amend the Criminal Records Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.
