In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 108(2) and the Committee's ongoing study of democratic development, the committee recommends the following: |
Conformément au mandat que lui confère le paragraphe 108 (2) du Règlement et aux termes de l’étude qu’il effectue au sujet du développement démocratique, le Comité recommande ce qui suit : |
| That the government present its whole-of-government strategy for failed states to the committee, that relevant departments appear before the committee to discuss the strategy and witnesses be invited to appear to testify on the human rights and humanitarian implications of the proposed strategy. | Que le gouvernement lui présente sa stratégie pangouvernementale touchant les États en déroute, que les ministères pertinents comparaissent devant le Comité afin de discuter de cette stratégie, et que des témoins soient invités à comparaître concernant les implications de la stratégie proposée sur le plan des droits de la personne et humanitaire. |
