A meeting of the Working Group on the LTVP and the Centre Block Rehabilitation was held in camera on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 11:04 a.m.

PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT SURVEY

Rocque Gameiro, Director General, Public Services and Procurement Canada, presented the public engagement survey and, with Rob Wright, Assistant Deputy Minister, Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch, Public Services and Procurement Canada, and Michel Patrice, Deputy Clerk, Administration, answered questions.

ENTRY SEQUENCE FOR THE PARLIAMENT WELCOME CENTRE

Michel Patrice, Deputy Clerk, Administration, presented the entry sequence for the Parliament Welcome Centre and, with Rob Wright, Assistant Deputy Minister, Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch, Public Services and Procurement Canada, and Susan Kulba, Director General and Chief Architect, Real Property, answered questions.

ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN COMPETITION FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF BLOCK 2

Rocque Gameiro, Director General, Public Services and Procurement Canada, presented the design competition for the redevelopment of Block 2 and, with Rob Wright, Assistant Deputy Minister, Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch, Public Services and Procurement Canada, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the working group recommend to the Board that, in relation to the architectural design competition for the redevelopment of Block 2, the Chair of the working group be designated as the juror representing the House of Commons and that they consult the working group regarding all related matters.

SPACE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CHAMBER, LOBBIES, GALLERIES AND ADJACENT AREAS

Susan Kulba, Director General and Chief Architect, Real Property, presented the space requirements for the Chamber, lobbies, galleries and adjacent areas and, with Rob Wright, Assistant Deputy Minister, Science and Parliamentary Infrastructure Branch, Public Services and Procurement Canada, and Michel Patrice, Deputy Clerk, Administration, answered questions.
