| In accordance with its Order of Reference of Wednesday, February 24, 2021, your committee has considered Bill C-206, An Act to amend the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act (qualifying farming fuel), and agreed on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, to report it with the following amendment: Clause 1 That Bill C-206, in Clause 1, be amended by adding after line 10 on page 1 the following: “(2) The definition qualifying farming fuel in section 3 of the Act is replaced by the following: qualifying farming fuel means a type of fuel that is gasoline, light fuel oil or a prescribed type of fuel. (combustible agricole admissible) 2 Subsection 1(2) comes into force on the tenth anniversary of the day on which this Act receives royal assent.” |
