The Standing Committee on Finance has the honour to present its	Le Comité permanent des Finances a l’honneur de présenter son
FIRST REPORT	PREMIER RAPPORT
In accordance with its Order of Reference of Wednesday, October 8, 1997, your Committee has considered Bill C-2, An Act to establish the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and to amend the Canada Pension Plan and the Old Age Security and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, and agreed on Thursday, November 20, 1997 to report it with the following amendments:	Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du Mercredi 8 octobre 1997, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi C-2, Loi constituant l’Office d’investissement du régime de pensions du Canada et modifiant le Régime de pensions du Canada, la Loi sur la sécurité de la vieillesse et d’autres lois en conséquence et a convenu le jeudi 20 novembre 1997 d’en faire rapport avec les amendements suivants :
Clause 12	Article 12
Replace lines 5 and 6 on page 7 with the following:	Substituer à la ligne 5, page 7, ce qui suit :

(3) Notwithstanding any other Act or law, any information obtained by a public officer of the Department of National Revenue, the Department of Finance, the Department of Public Works and Government Services or the Department of Citizenship and Immigration for the purpose of the administration of this Act may be made available or allowed to be made available by that person to a public officer of the Department of Human Resources Development, the Department of National Revenue, the Department of Finance, the Department of Public Works and Government Services, the Department of Citizenship and Immigration or the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions for the purpose of the administration of this Act.
