Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(ii) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, March 3, 2022, the committee resumed its study of expanding the federal jurisdiction for the operational security of the Parliamentary Precinct to include sections of Wellington St and Sparks St.

Cherie Henderson made a statement and, with Newton Shortliffe, answered questions.

At 11:57 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:04 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Michel Bédard, Trish Ferguson, Larry Brookson and Tobi Nussbaum made statements and, with Alain Miguelez, answered questions.

At 1:02 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
