Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 17, 2022, the committee resumed its study of Invocation of the Emergencies Act and related measures.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 4:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:06 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the second half of the meeting on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 2:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m., be used to give drafting instructions to the Analysts for a draft report on the Study of the Invocation of the Emergency Act and related measures.

At 5:42 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
