Election of Chair
Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the clerk of the committee presided over the election of a chair.

On motion of Michael Barrett, it was agreed, — That John Brassard be elected Chair of the committee.

At 5:04 p.m., John Brassard took the Chair.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 3,625.00, for the study of device investigation tools used by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), be adopted.

On motion of Michael Barrett, it was agreed, — That the committee do now adjourn.

At 5:10 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
