Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 29, 2020, the committee commenced its study of the impact of COVID-19 on the aviation sector.

Lawrence Hanson, Nicolas Robinson and Scott Streiner made statements and, with Valérie Lagacé, Marcia Jones, Aaron McCrorie, Colin Stacey and Christian Dea answered questions.

Motion

Xavier Barsalou-Duval moved, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(1)(a), an Order of the Committee be issued for correspondence between Transport Canada, including the Minister of Transport and his staff, and the Canadian Transportation Agency regarding cancelled plane tickets and the right of air passengers to be reimbursed, and that these documents be provided to the committee clerk within 15 days following the adoption of this motion.

At 4:43 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:51 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Chris Bittle moved, — That the debate be now adjourned.
