Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the subcommittee on Tuesday. October 27, 2020, the subcommittee resumed its study of the role of the Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise

Chris Moran made a statement and answered questions.

At 7:21 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:26 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

The subcommittee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the subcommittee undertake a study to explore the impacts of COVID19 on human trafficking and modern slavery around the world, using three countries as case studies.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the subcommittee's study of the impacts of COVID-19 on human trafficking and modern slavery, briefs of no more than 2000 words be accepted until 23:59 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2021.

At 8:05 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
