Pursuant to the order of reference of Tuesday, February 16, 2021, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act and to make related and consequential amendments to other Acts.

David Sparrow, Marie Kelly, Raj Shoan, Jonathan Daniels, Alain Strati, Jay Thomson, Pascale St-Onge, Daniel Bernhard and Katha Fortier made statements and, with Julien Laflamme and Howard Law, answered questions.

At 12:04 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $1,500, for the study of the relations between Facebook and the federal government, be adopted.

At 1:07 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
