Pursuant to the order of reference of Saturday, April 11, 2020, the committee resumed its study of parliamentary uties and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mumilaaq Qaqqaq, Niki Ashton, Chantal Bernier, Christian Leuprecht and Martyn Turcotte made statements and answered questions.

At 6:45 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:51 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Cristine de Clercy, Ronald J. Deibert, Nathalie Laliberté, John Weigelt and Harry D. Moseley made statements and, with Matthew Ball, answered questions.

On motion of Blake Richards, it was agreed, — That the committee invite the Canadian Association of Professional Employees and the International Association of Conference Interpreters to appear before the committee during the week of May 4, 2020.

At 8:35 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
