Current Human Rights Situation of the Rohingya in Myanmar

Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, the Subcommittee resumed its study of the current human rights situation of the Rohingya in Myanmar.

Chris Lewa, by teleconference from Bangkok, Thailand, made a statement and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee proceed to sit in camera.

At 2:02 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
