Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business;

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of small and medium enterprises (SME) in federal procurement.


Mike Pacholok, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, made a statement and answered questions.

At 11:18 a.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit until 11:30 a.m.

At 11:28 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:09 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a report.
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee hold meetings in relation to its studies of the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business and of small and medium enterprises (SME) in federal procurement on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, and on Thursday, April 26, 2018, in order to hear testimony from representatives of the Canada-United States Council for Advancement of Women Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders, of the Métis National Council, and of the government of the United Kingdom.

It was agreed, — That the Committee meet in camera, in an informal meeting, with a parliamentary delegation from France on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

At 12:23 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
