Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the Committee on February 22, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Translation Bureau.

Dominique Bohbot and Nicole Gagnon made statements and, with Jim Thompson, answered questions.

At 11:58 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, the Committee commenced its study of the issues related to the enumeration of rights-holders under section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Melinda Chartrand, Roger Paul, Isabelle Laurin and Jean-Pierre Hachey made statements and answered questions.

At 1:01 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
