Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, June 8, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of criminalization of non-disclosure of HIV status.

Andrew Brett, Sean Hosein and Karen Segal, all by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Khaled Salam and Robin Montgomery made statements and answered questions.

At 9:52 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:57 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Mark Tyndall, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, Kristopher Wells and Shelley Williams made statements and answered questions.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That any members with comments about the Committee’s calendar or the draft letters to Facebook, Alphabet, Twitter and Reddit regarding the study of online hate send their feedback to the Clerk and the Chair no later than Wednesday, May 8, 2019.

At 10:52 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
