Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, May 4, 2016, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-14, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and to make related amendments to other Acts (medical assistance in dying).

Joseph Arvay, Graydon Nicholas and Udo Schuklenk made statements and answered questions.

At 9:47 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Harvey Max Chochinov, by videoconference from Vancouver, British Columbia, Jennifer Gibson and Josh Paterson made statements and answered questions.

At 10:47 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
