Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, the Committee resumed its study on specific claims and comprehensive land claims agreements.

Michael Ferguson made a statement and, with Joe Martire and James McKenzie , answered questions.

At 11:19 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:35 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 12:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Joe Wild made a statement and, with Stephen Gagnon and Heather McLean, answered questions.

At 12:48 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:50 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee invite the Minister of Indigenous Services and the Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs to appear before the Committee, regarding their mandate letters, on Thursday, November 30, 2017.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study on the 2017 wildfires in First Nations communities, the members of the Committee submit to the Clerk of the Committee their list of witnesses by Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

At 12:58 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
