Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, June 13, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of poverty reduction strategies.

Heather Dryburgh, Jérémie Ryan, Paula Isaak and Mary Pichette made statements and, with Monika Bertrand and Klarka Zeman answered questions.

At 10:28 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:30 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of poverty reduction strategies, the proposed budget in the amount of $79,653.60, for the Committee’s travel to Kuujjuaq, Quebec; Saint John, New Brunswick and Toronto, Ontario in February or March 2017, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of poverty reduction strategies, the proposed budget in the amount of $65,376.00, for the Committee’s travel to Winnipeg, Manitoba; Medicine Hat, Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia in February or March 2017, be adopted.

At 10:36 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
