Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee commenced consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (B) 2017-18: Votes 1b, 5b and 10b under Department of Fisheries and Oceans, referred to the Committee on Thursday, October 26, 2017.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, October 17, 2017, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-55, An Act to amend the Oceans Act and the Canada Petroleum Resources Act.

By videoconference from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Ian MacPherson made a statement and, with Melanie Giffin and Kenneth Arsenault, answered questions.

At 10:44 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:44 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to Bill C-55, An Act to amend the Oceans Act and the Canada Petroleum Resources Act, Mike Aumond and Nikki Macdonald be invited.
