Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That a letter be sent to Robert Sopuck, M.P., thanking him for the past work he has done on the Committee.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the Oceans Act's marine protected areas, members submit suggestions of witnesses to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Friday, September 22, 2017.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the Oceans Act's marine protected areas, a representative from Parks Canada be invited to appear before the Committee.
It was agreed, — That members submit suggestions of witnesses for the trip to the Maritimes to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
At 9:12 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 9:14 a.m., the sitting resumed.
On motion of Mel Arnold, it was agreed, — That Todd Doherty be elected First Vice-Chair of the Committee.
At 9:39 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
