FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE CHAIR, HON. ROBERT NAULT TABLES COMMITTEE REPORT ON SANCTIONS LEGISLATION IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS

April 5, 2017 – Hon. Robert Nault, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development, will table the Committee’s report on its statutory review of the Freezing Assets of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act and the Special Economic Measures Act in the House of Commons tomorrow.

Over the course of 13 meetings, the Committee heard testimony from government officials, academics, practitioners, and civil society advocates regarding these important pieces of legislation.
