The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Sixth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

Your Subcommittee met on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, to consider the business of the Committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

1. That the proposed calendar for September and October 2016 be agreed to.

2. That the documents prepared by the analysts from the Library of Parliament entitled "Background Information for Departmental Officials: Committee Review of the Special Economic Measures Act and the Freezing Assets of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act" and "Background Information for Witnesses: Committee Review of the Special Economic Measures Act and the Freezing Assets of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act" be agreed to and distributed to departmental witnesses and other witnesses when they are invited to appear before the Committee on the proposed study.

3. That the work plan prepared by the analysts from the Library of Parliament for the Committee's review of the Special Economic Measures Act and the Freezing Assets of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act be considered and that the witnesses proposed for the first two meetings on the study be agreed to.

4. That the possibility to propose witnesses to appear on the Committee's review of the Special Economic Measures Act and the Freezing Assets of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act remain open until further notice.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $15,400.00, for the study of the human rights situation in Burundi of the Subcommittee on International Human Rights, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the Committee resumed its study on women, peace and security.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 5:03 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
