The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to its study of the priorities of canadian stakeholders having an interest in bilateral and trilateral trade in North America, between Canada, United States and Mexico, the proposed budget in the amount of $65,365.91, for the Committee’s travel to the Seattle metropolitan area, Washington, United States of America, to Sacramento, San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, California, United States of America and to the Denver metropolitan area, Colorado, United States of America, in Spring 2017, be adopted and that the Chair present the said budget to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee.

It was agreed, — That the Committee defray the hospitality expenses related to working meals and receptions to be held during its travel to the Seattle metropolitan area, Washington, United States of America, to Sacramento, San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, California, United States of America and to the Denver metropolitan area, Colorado, United States of America, in Spring 2017 and that the Clerk of the Committee be authorized to purchase gifts to be presented during the Committee's travel.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Committee resumed its Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) Public Consultation.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 4:46 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
