Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of systemic racism and religious discrimination.

Serah Gazali made a statement and, with Narges Samimi, answered questions.

At 4:28 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:29 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 66,000, for the study of systemic racism and religious discrimination, be adopted.

At 4:34 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:35 p.m., the sitting resumed in public.

Osaed Khan, Idris El-Bakri, Mansoor Pirzada made statements and, with Ayse Akinturk and Haseen Khan, answered questions.

At 5:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
