Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the motion adopted on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 concerning the time limit for the submission of witnesses for the news media study, this date be extended to Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
It was agreed, — That the Committee invite the CRTC, Heritage Canada and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada to appear next Tuesday, February 23, 2016, to discuss the state of Canadian Media, Government of Canada regulations and financial supports for regional and local media and;
That, on Thursday, February 25, 2016, the Committee invite representatives from Carleton University School of Journalism and Communication, NAD Bank, Numeris, Forum for Research and Policy in Communications and Observatoire de la culture et des communications du Québec.

At 10:32 , the sitting resumed.
It was agreed, — That the Committee invite la Fédération des communautés francophones et acadienne du Canada to appear on Thursday, February 25, 2016.
At 10:46 , the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
