Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the state of Canadian museums.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the Committee consider the report entitled Government of Canada Survey of Heritage Institutions: 2017, as having been submitted as a reference document and included in the Committee's evidence for the current study.

At 9:45 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:48 a.m., the sitting resumed in public.

Andrew MacDougall, Vanessa Morgan, Scott Garvie and Marguerite Pigott made statements and answered questions.

At 10:49 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
