It was agreed, — That the Second Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in as amended:

Your Subcommittee met on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, to consider the business of the Committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

1. That the Chair write to invite the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and departmental officials to appear before the Committee, at the Minister's earliest convenience, to provide an update on departmental activities related to studies undertaken by the Committee since the beginning of the first session of the 42nd Parliament.

2. That the Committee invite representatives from the Agri-Food industry, based in Ottawa, to appear regarding the study on the Next Agricultural Policy Framework for the meeting of Wednesday, June 15 and Monday, June 20, 2016.

3. That the Committee study budgets to travel in the Fall of 2016 for the study of the Next Agricultural Policy Framework.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of the Next Agricultural Policy Framework, the proposed budget in the amount of $ 73,432.50, for the Committee’s travel to Vancouver, British Columbia, Chilliwack, British Columbia, Calgary, Alberta, Winnipeg, Manitoba in Fall 2016, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the study of the Next Agricultural Policy Framerwork, the proposed budget in the amount of $ 73,407.50, for the Committee’s travel to Toronto, Ontario, Niagara Region, Ontario, Guelph, Ontario, Saint Hyacinthe, Quebec, Kentville, Nova Scotia in Fall 2016, be adopted.
