Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, September 29, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of mental health and suicide prevention among veterans.

Stéphanie Bélanger, by videoconference from Kingston, Ontario, Heidi Cramm, by videoconference from Kingston, Ontario, and Dr. Jitender Sareen, by videoconference from Winnipeg, Manitoba, made statements and answered questions.

At 4:32 p.m., Robert Kitchen took the Chair.

At 4:33 p.m., Neil R. Ellis took the Chair.

At 5:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:05 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the additional witness provided for the study on mental health and suicide prevention among veterans be included in the witness list.

At 5:11 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
