The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 3:31 p.m. this day, in Room C-110, 1 Wellington, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Hon. Scott Brison, Robert Carrier, Bernard Généreux, Russ Hiebert, Ted Menzies, Thomas J. Mulcair, Massimo Pacetti, Daniel Paillé, James Rajotte, Paul Szabo and Mike Wallace.

Acting Members present: Lois Brown for Kelly Block.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Mark Mahabir, Analyst ; Brett Stuckey, Analyst . House of Commons: David-Andrés Novoa, Committee Clerk.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, the Committee commenced its study of government's economic update and fiscal projections.

Kevin Page, Finn Poschmann, Derek Burleton and Mary Webb made statements and, with Sahir Khan, answered questions.

At 5:32 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
