The Standing Committee on Finance met at 9:00 a.m. this day, in Room C-120, 1 Wellington, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Kelly Block, Hon. Scott Brison, Robert Carrier, Ted Menzies, Thomas J. Mulcair, Massimo Pacetti, Daniel Paillé, James Rajotte and Paul Szabo.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations 2010.

Howard Mains, Ron Watkins, John Tak, Paul Stothart, Lorraine Hébert, Richard Monk and Denis St-Pierre made statements and, with Carole Presseault, answered questions.

At 10:28 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:34 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Andrew Van Iterson, Tim Weis, Jody Ciufo, Michael Toye, Stacia Kean and Diane Watts made statements and, with Barry Turner, answered questions.

At 11:09 a.m., Massimo Pacetti took the Chair.

At 11:15 a.m., James Rajotte took the Chair.

At 12:00 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
