The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met at 11:12 a.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Gerald Keddy, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Gérard Asselin, Raynald Blais, Blaine Calkins, Randy Kamp, Gerald Keddy, James Lunney, Hon. Lawrence MacAulay, Fabian Manning and Peter Stoffer.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: François Côté, Analyst.

 

Witnesses: Parliamentary Delegation from Indonesia, Commission IV (Agriculture, Forestry, Ocean, Fisheries and Food Products): Bomer Pasaribu, Team Leader; Rusman H.M. Ali; M. Faqih Chaironi; Wowo Ibrahim; H. Idham; Hilman Indra; Nurhadi M. Musyawir; Ir. Apri Hananto Sukandar; M. Djoemad Tjiptowardojo; H. Darwis, Secretary. National Harbour Authority Advisory Committee : Osborne Burke, Chairperson; Luc LeGresley, Vice-Chair, Quebec; Bob Baziuk, Secretary, British Columbia.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee met with representatives of a Parliamentary Delegation from Indonesia.
 

Bomer Pasaribu made a statement and, with the other delegates, answered questions.

 

At 12:11 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:16 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motions adopted by the Committee on May 16, 2006 and March 1, 2007, the Committee resumed its study of small craft harbours.
 

Osborne Burke, Luc LeGresley and Bob Baziuk made statements and answered questions.

 

At 1:07 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
