MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

Meeting No. 30

Tuesday, April 29, 2003

The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met in camera at 11:09 a.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Tom Wappel, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Andy Burton, John Cummins, R. John Efford, Loyola Hearn, Dominic LeBlanc, Bill Matthews, Joe Peschisolido, Carmen Provenzano, Jean-Yves Roy, Peter Stoffer, Tom Wappel, Bob Wood.

Acting Member present:  Paul Steckle for Georges Farrah.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: François Côté and Alan Nixon, research officers.

By unanimous consent, the Committee proceeded to the consideration of its future business.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on invasive species.  (See Minutes of Proceedings, Thursday, January 30, 2003, Meeting 11).

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 12:13 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
