Tabling of Documents

Pursuant to Standing Order 32(2), Mr. Regan (Parliamentary Secretary to the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons) laid upon the Table, — Government responses, pursuant to Standing Order 36(8), to the following petitions:

— No. 371-0471 concerning oil products. — Sessional Paper No. 8545-371-29-05;

— No. 371-0492 concerning the income tax system. — Sessional Paper No. 8545-371-26-04.

Introduction of Private Members' Bills

Pursuant to Standing Orders 68(2) and 69(1), on motion of Mr. Martin (Winnipeg Centre) , seconded by Mr. Keddy (South Shore) , Bill C-423, An Act to amend the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (unpaid wages to rank first in priority in distribution), was read the first time and ordered for a second reading at the next sitting of the House.

Motions

By unanimous consent, it was ordered, — That the membership of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs be modified as follows: Garry Breitkreuz to replace Richard Harris, and Randy White to replace John Reynolds; and that Richard Harris and John Reynolds be added to the list of associate members.

Presenting Petitions

Pursuant to Standing Order 36, a petition certified correct by the Clerk of Petitions was presented as follows:
