Financial Statements of the House of Commons

Through a competitive procurement process, the House of Commons hires an independent accounting firm to conduct an annual audit of its financial statements, which include the following:

Current Financial Statements:

The audit of the 2016–2017 financial statements resulted in an unqualified audit opinion.

The auditor is satisfied that the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position, the results of operations and the cash flows of the House of Commons.

Past Financial Statements:

* Note: In 2005-2006, the audit of the financial statements changed to include expenditures associated with Members and House Officers.
